TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of plumbing, heating, gas engineering, air conditioning and general repair and maintenance services by Plumbistry to our customers. By accepting our estimate, quote, or booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Estimates and Quotations:

Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. 

Quotations are based on a visual inspection. If unexpected conditions arise (e.g., hidden pipe corrosion, structural obstacles), we reserve the right to adjust the final price. We will always discuss additional costs with you before proceeding.

2. Bookings and Cancellations

Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. * Late Cancellations or cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time may be subject to a minimum call-out charge.

3. Payment Terms 

Payment is due immediately upon completion of the work and presentation of the invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Deposit: For larger installations (e.g., boiler replacements), a deposit for materials may be required before work begins.

Late Fees: We reserve the right to charge interest on any unpaid balances outstanding beyond the specified due date.

4. Access and Client Responsibilities

The Client must ensure clear, unobstructed, and safe access to the property and the area where work is to be performed.

You must have the authority to permit work at the property (e.g., owner or authorized tenant).

Services: Main water, electricity, and gas supplies must be operational during the service unless shut-offs are part of the scope of work.

5. Liability and Delays

Existing Defects: The Company is not liable for structural damage, leaks, or malfunctions resulting from pre-existing system defects, fragile infrastructure, or poor prior workmanship.

Unforeseen Delays: We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, supply chain shortages, or emergency call-outs.

6. Guarantees and Warranties

Workmanship: We provide a 12-month warranty on our workmanship from the date of completion. * Manufacturer Warranties: Appliances and parts installed (e.g., boilers, radiators, pumps) are covered under their respective manufacturer's warranties. The Company is not responsible for manufacturer warranty claims or coverage terms.
